AMRITSAR: The Dal Khalsa is of the considered opinion that the undue interference of the Indian State (Central and State Governments) in the religious affairs of the Sikhs has increased manifold in the recent times and that the State was working on a deeper plan to target the pro-active Sikhs, and in order to stop Govt’s design there is a need for unity among the Sikhs as well as to rekindle the spirit of sacrifice in them.

In this regard, a meeting of the Executive Committee of Dal Khalsa was held at party office to deliberate upon the mysterious killings of Khalistani activists on foreign soil and the state's increasing interference in the religious affairs of Sikhs.

Meeting was chaired by Harpal Singh Cheema in which Baba Hardeep Singh Mehraj, Jasveer Singh Khandur, Kanwarpal Singh, Harcharanjit Singh Dhami, Paramjit Singh Tanda, Paramjit Singh Mand, Ranveer Singh, Jagjit Singh Khosa, Surjit Singh Khalistani, Gurnam Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Gurpreet Singh were present.

After the killing of Khalistan Commando Force chief Bhai Paramjit Singh Panjwar, the cold-blooded murder of Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijhar in Canada has been taken very seriously by the Dal Khalsa.
The organization believes that the enemies of the Sikh Panth were behind it, who wanted to create fear psychosis in the minds of young generation.

The leaders apprehended that there will be more targeted killings in the coming days while pointing the finger of suspicion at the intelligence agencies (also called Deep State) of India. Expressing apprehensions, they said that this practice may also happen in Punjab with the supporters of Khalistan. He said that the Indian Deep State is carrying out such murders through mercenary hired with the intention of spreading terror among the Khalistani youth.

The Dal Khalsa has written a letter to the Prime Minister of Canada regarding the murder of Bhai Nijhar and appealed for a fair investigation and justice. In a letter to Justice Trudeau, the organization said that Bhai Nijhar has been a victim of the Indian government's hateful propaganda against Canadian Sikhs. Giving reasons, he said that when the Indian government failed to secure the extradition of Bhai Nijhar legally, it silenced him forever by using illegal means through hidden hands.

It was recalled in the letter that when the Prime Minister of Canada visited the Darbar Sahib in February 2018, the then Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh gave him a list of 9 active Sikhs related to the Khalistan ideology and asked for their extradition. Nijhar's name was prominently included. Dal Khalsa appealed to the Government of Canada to arrest the killers of Bhai Nijhar and expose the conspiracy and conspirators.

During the meeting, Dal Khalsa has decided to hold the Ardas and shardanjali Samagam of Bhai Nijhar at Darbar Sahib complex on 1st July.

Party president Harpal Singh Cheema said that their group has decided that a group of 100 youths of their organization under the leadership of Paramjit Singh Mand, will demonstrate in front of the RAW office in Amritsar on July 1 after the Bhog at Darbar Sahib. Our activists will convey the message to the RAW authorities that “we are also Khalistani and if your thirst is satisfied with the blood of Khalistani’s, kill us too”. He said we have chosen RAW office to demonstrate as it’s India’s external intelligence that is responsible for operations on foreign soil.

The spokesperson of the party, Paramjit Singh Mand, while releasing the proceedings of the meeting to the press, said that all the parties have spoken against the interference of the government, but how to stop this unnecessary and uncalled interference permanently, so far no one has come up with a solid and constructive program.

The Dal Khalsa has proposed to SGPC to immediately convene the Panthic gathering at the Manji Sahib Diwan Hall to wage a one-on-one battle against Bhagwant Maan government in Punjab.
